My latest piece this year focusses on the concept of simulacra 'simulate' or 'imitate' in the sense of the real. I am interested in how advertising has simulated this idea of what reality is or should be. From ideology to actual reality I am exploring how this dissimilation of truth could lead to the end of human civilisation. Quoting Jean Baudrillard work: Simulacra and Simulation.

Eyes in the Wood

'Eyes in the Wood' is a new project where I amexperimenting painting on wood. diigtally! This is my first bash at it so keep checking back to find, hopeful more complex and challenging illustrations in the future.

In my next piece I want to add lots of eyes with different characteristics so you get this feeling of lots of little creatures being uner the floorboards.
